Stacey McGunnigle is an award winning actor, writer, comedian. After a world wide search, Stacey was cast as the lead in NBC's comedy pilot project "Ellen More Less". Stacey was touted as a break out star of Pilot Season by Variety Magazine and Deadline. Most recently Stacey has returned to the Second City stage after writing and performing in three award winning revues which earned her countless accolades such as multiple Canadian Comedy Award nominations (Best Female Improviser, Best Ensemble) and win for Best Breakout Artist 

Stacey is also known for her original digital series "Stacey Helps" for Zooey Deschanels lifestyle site Hellogiggles.com. The series has earned over half a million views and was recognized in Fast Company for its success. 

Most recently Stacey, alongside her comedy partner Jason DeRosse, wrote and performed in an original award winning production for the Toronto Fringe Festival. The show, "Tonight's Cancelled" received "Critics Pick", "Patrons Pick" as well as  "Best of Fringe" and was most notably named by Now Magazine as "One of the top ten Best comedy Shows in 2016". 

Stacey also records a weekly podcast "Regular Girls" w/ WWE's Renee Young which has earned over 900,000 listens. 

Stacey’s Film and TV Credits include: Bruce McDonald's "Hellions", "Arranged" (The Movie Network), InSecurity (CBC), MTV's Losing It, CMT's Hit or Miss, as well as very successful Ad Campaigns such as Volkswagon, Hotels.Com, Honda, McDonalds, Special K, Tetley Tea, MIO, Wisers Whiskey and Gain.

 

Stacey can currently be seen in the indie short Must Kill Karl for which she won Best Supporting Actress by the Austin Film Festival. And if you are still reading this she prefers White wine to red. The red stains her teeth.
